Dear Patient:

It is with mixed emotions that I announce my retirement as of February 1, 2024. It has been both an honor and a privilege to serve the community in this capacity for almost 43 years. I have so many fond memories of treating you, my patients, for the better part of my life.

One of the great rewards and privileges that the dental profession has afforded me is the opportunity to build long and trusting relationships with generations of families who I have come to know well.

The time has come for me to step back and transition my practice. I am happy to share that the office will live on, in its same location, through a highly qualified dentist who has also been practicing in the neighborhood for over 15 years. Dr. Richard A. Rosen of Carroll Gardens Dental Associates will be taking over my practice and continuing to care for my patients. Over the last number of years I have become friendly with Dr. Rosen and his exceptional staff. They are personable and listen intently to patients’ needs. I have witnessed first-hand the new technology he uses and the conservative approach to dentistry we both share. I know that he reflects the standards you have come to expect in me and my practice. His office accepts many of the same insurance plans that I accept making the transition easy for most of you. For all these reasons I feel very comfortable referring you to this highly proficient clinician for your future dental health and needs.

In addition, Gina, my excellent and personable dental assistant, who has worked with me for over 8 years will continue working in the practice as well, therefore making this an even easier transition.

After February 1st, 2024, my office will be undergoing renovation and my patients will be seen at his current location, 402 Court Street, Brooklyn, NY 11231(718-834-1446). The phone numbers to my office will remain unchanged, and calls will be forwarded to Dr. Rosen’s office. I will be available multiple days a week for introductory purposes for many months. After the completed renovation of my current office all patients will be treated at 544 Court Street, the location you are all familiar with.

So let me close by thanking you for entrusting me with your dental care as well as the care of your friends, family and colleagues. I am so grateful for the time I have spent with all of you. I am also very pleased that my practice will live on through an exceptional dentist that I know will make all of you feel welcome and comfortable. Sincerely,

Dr. Jeffrey Kramer
